Aug 2/18 – Sean’s note

Aug 1/18 – Ask me first

If you buy a paramotor from me it does not mean that the whole thing came from RS ULTRA already assembled.

This is how it works:

I purchase Vittorazi 2 stroke motor directly from Vittorazi in Italy.

I purchase propeller from very reputable North America based manufacturer

I purchase frame, cage, harness, gas tank, paraglider attachment system, engine adapter, hand throttle from RS ULTRA

I am the one who assembles the unit.

Any questions regarding frame, cage, harness, gas tank, paraglider attachment system, engine adapter, hand throttle should be directed to me and not to RS ULTRA. I will contact RS ULTRA if need be.

Any questions regarding the 2 stroke motor in your paramotor should be directed to me and not to RS ULTRA or Vittorazi. I will contact Vittorazi if need be.

Any questions regarding the propeller in your paramotor should be directed to me and not to RS ULTRA or Vittorazi.

Any questions regarding the location and function of the on frame pull start pulley in your paramotor should be directed to me and not to RS ULTRA or Vittorazi.

Any questions regarding the assembly your paramotor should be directed to me and not to RS ULTRA or Vittorazi.

July 24/18 – First oil change on my 701

I got 50 hrs so I had to change the crankcase oil. It was relatively eaay and all went well. This engine is just biy more complicated then our air cooled PPG two strokes…

July 20/18 – Craig first solo

Craig finally got it and managed first solo.

Congrats, well done.

July 19/19 – Sean another 4 flights

July 18/19 – Sean 4 more flights

Sean did two flights in the morning and two flights in the evening all well executed.
The Flying window of opportunity in the morning was very short. Craig and Paul did more ground handling it’s not going that great. I’m running out of tools in my toolbox to help them. After lots and lots of hours of kiting they still do basic mistakes.

In the evening Sean did two more flights. I think he could have done more but the machine is almost half of his weight and that makes it physically tough. Sean and Paul Ground handled. Some improvement but not ready for flying yet.

July 17/18 – Hot

It has been extremely hot and humid. We have lots of cold water and a quick shade but even that doesn’t do it. We often give up because it’s just too hot. Sean managed two flights this morning and has 4 now.  Craig is ready to fly soon but some cleanup is still required with his kiting. Paul is very good at forwards and not very good at reverses and I’m gonna leave it at that. Ha ha. Everybody’s having fun – it’s a good blend of fun guys. We had some beers in Sean’s motor home last night and shoot the shit till almost 11 o’clock. Great time I really enjoyed it.
