In Canada powered paragliding is regulated by Ministry of Transportation and pilot is required to have an ultralight pilot permit to operate one of these aircrafts. To earn an ultra light pilot permit a student pilot must complete 30 solo flights to total 5 hours while guided and supervised by certified flight instructor. Learning how to fly powered paraglider under instructor’s guidance is essential for safe and continuous enjoyment of the sport. My paramotor courses cover all you need to know to fly PPG safely. No previous flight experience is necessary.

FINE PRINT
- The possibility of training depends on weather and can spread over many weeks or months if you can only train on weekends and/or your schedule is not flexible.
- The amount of flights one will achieve is also estimated. There is a slight possibility that you will only manage several flights if your skills are below average and will need to pay more to complete the 30 flights requirement.
- I will not teach you how to fly on gear that is not familiar to me.
- Flying foot launched PPG is quite demanding and requires good level of fitness. To complete 30 flight and total 5 hrs of flight time is a serious undertaking.
- Charges are per person.
- You will have to sign this WAIVER form
- PPG course fee is non refundable and non transferable – any credit left on the account can be used for pleasure non training flights or applied to purchase of equipment sold by PPO
- All prices are cash discounted. If you wish to use VISA or MC I will add 3.5 % to your bill
- You will be responsible to pay for any damages to school equipment. You will be required to pre authorize $ 1000 VISA or MC charge. NOTES
- I have access to a large grass flight field that we train from.
- I have indoor facility to teach paramotor ground school, flight simulator and to show and test paramotoring equipment that I sell.
- My paramotor PPG school is approved by Ministry of Transportation Canada
- I only teach students on approved and registered PPG equipment that I know well such as Sky Paragliders and Kangook Paramotors. Please call and discuss the equipment if you plan to purchase anything before the course. Read this please.
- I follow written curriculum to ensure quality and consistency of powered paraglider PPG paramotor training
- My PPG paramotor classes are small (1 or 2 students max) to ensure personal attention to all students. I teach all the powered paragliding courses my self.
- There is always possibility that weather will not cooperate at all. If winds are more then 20 km/h (10 km/h max for trike) or it is raining we can not fly and will reschedule.
- I make every possible effort to ensure the safety of all students, but it must be understood that due its characteristics, high adventure activities involve risk and are inherently dangerous relative to other recreational activities. I ask you to consider these facts when deciding whether or not to engage in PPG. The course is physically demanding, you should be in reasonably good physical condition. I reserve the right to limit or fully exclude any student’s activities if I deem it necessary, as to ensure their safety or the safety of other students or pilots. I will make all final decisions. Every student is required to sign a release of liability waiver prior to course participation.
- I will not teach you how to fly on gear that is not familiar to me.
