The usual morning and early afternoon at Peaks. Ground school completed. The off to the field for ground handling. Ben is almost ready to fly!
Aug 1/14 – Gas to Sudbury
Just looking at my gas receipt after I have topped up in Sudbury. I have burned 95.7 l of 100 LL and flew 2.8 hrs including run up, taxing and so on. So this puppy takes 34.17 liters per hour flying at 112 Kts which is 208 km/h.

Last night buddy of mine who flies Dash 8 for Jazz Canada told me about radar app that all commercial pilots started to use recently. It is called “My Radar” and you can get it for free in the App store. Works great!
