Nov 25/20 – review from Glen
I think the best word to describe the training experience that Andre provides is professional. I was in Toronto hesitating of which schools to go to. Availability, length, quality, safety. So many questions came up. I eventually called Andre, and we spent a good deal of time talking.
I felt genuinely safe and confident with the way he described his training plan, how we would by no means take any risks, and how we could work things out given my unpredictable schedule.
Going down to St. Catherine’s, I was nervous of what to expect, but the course definitely met my expectations. Since the beginning, you could tell Andre was very knowledgeable in these sports, and was always willing to answer the numerous and random questions I had.
He has been doing this for several years, and I could tell by the way he anticipated every step in the learning process. Whenever a doubt or obstacle came during the training, he quickly addressed it as he already knew it would occur. He guided both the physical and mental process of learning. Taught me appropriate form, kiting, safety; prepared me mentally for my first flight. He was also very objective. He would promptly identify my mistakes, and address them in a firm, polite and educating manner.
I would not have chosen another school. Andre is an excellent guide. I have 10 flights completed, and eagerly look forward to finishing my training, knowing Andre will teach me the best and safest way to fly a paramotor.

Hi Andre ,
From training perspective I was very happy with the skills I learnt from you. You really managed the training time very well. Additionally, I truly thank you for your guidance post training in the below aspects
1. Having a discussion with me to ensure I bought the right size motor (Atom80) instead of going for a bigger motor which was my original preference. After flying with my new paramotor, I definitely think I am in control of my landings and take-off’s a lot better as compared to having a heavier motor
2. Andre’s expertise saved me at least 3-5k by guiding me on how I can make my paragliding wing work by changing the risers and helping me pack my reserve.
3. Andre also guided me to secure approval for use of the local flight field
4. 6 weeks after I completed the training with him, he still showed me how I can make the best use of the windy app to predict weather and interpret the numbers on the app. This has been a big help and a huge time-saver!
I would highly recommend training and buying equipment from you to fellow paramotoring aspirants !
I tried hard to think of improvements and could only come up with one which is possibly more time should be spent on understanding the weather conditions (but this is also something I believe the pilots need to experience for themselves as the thresholds may vary from pilot to pilot)

Both Kenny and Qu had finished their PPG course today.

Sep 14/20 Jeremy and Andrei are flying
Jeremy and Andrei started the course on Sat morning. It is Monday night and Jeremy has 7 flights and Andrei 1. Congrats.
Sep 11/20 Jason and John are done

flights each – congrats and getting er done!
Sep 6/20 – Kenny and Qu almost done
Kenny has 21 flights and is fully independent.
Qu has 24 flights but still makes some minor mistakes with basic hook up.
If all goes well both will be finished during next session.
Aug 28/20 – Qu and Kenny
It has been very busy year and I do not have time for too many posts.
Kenny and Qu started the course on Aug 22/20 and Qu has 12 flights and Kenny 5 flights. They will be done in no time.

June 26/20 am – Brock 5 more flights
Great morning, Brock added five more flights to his logbook. So far he stayed on his feet every time, he had two perfect takeoffs – the other once were good enough. Hoping for eight flights tonight
Andrew is moving along nicely too. He’s now kitting with the paramotor on his back – we had it running and he already had it locked for takeoff. I just need to see it a few more times before I will give him the go ahead to get in the air.
