May 28/18 – Flew Cherokee

It was at 2 pm on super hot day. Bit of a rodeo on landings. Had to go around once as I did not like what was happening…

May 28/18 am – PPG course day 3

Ground handling in the morning. Vince got it he will fly tonight.

Art and Geoff need more work.

May 27/18 – PPG course day 2

We have decided to skip the morning because forecast was calling for a very light and variable winds. We got together at 12 noon and started to ground handle but within one hour wind had become very inconsistent and gusty. We switched to work with the motors learning how to assemble, pre-flight, pre-start and then we did our running exercises. After that it was back to kiting. Vince has it almost locked in; Jeff and Art need to work on it a little more. I think Vince will fly tonight but we will see.

May 26/18 – Art, Vince and Geoff started PPG course.

May 21/18 – Andy managed 21 flights in 2 days

May 20/18 – Please do not break the rules in Niagara Falls

https://www.niagarathisweek.com/news-story/8617724-quebec-man-charged-with-unlawful-use-of-paraglider-in-niagara-falls/

Pls note that Niagara Falls is restricted space CYR 518 up to 3000 ft AGL.

Above is 500 buffer.

Then any aircraft that is on 122.05 MHZ and higher the 3500 ft can fly the sight seeing circuit.

I do that in the Cherokee often and it is an impressive site.

May 17/18 – PPG course outside of Niagara

Super busy. Did not have time to write reports so here are at least some pics.

May 10/18 – Pics from July’s flights

May 6/18 – Andy first solo +2 more flights

The wind finally come down so I could do more training with Andy. After 3 hrs of kiting he was ready for solo. We did manage 3 flights but rain was coming so we had to quit early.

Congrats Andy on your first solo PPG flight.
