Aug 21/14 – Flight to London
/in Uncategorized/by Andre ZemanSince I am planning to flight commercially, I need to build up my hours. My next goal is to have 50 XC hours and once I have that I can start IFR training. Also night flying rating is coming up but we need the days to be shorter.
Here are bunch of pics from my flight to London. It was very busy there, kind of scary. Not like the first time I flew in. London is class “C” control zone and pilot must read back all instructions and get clearances for all actions. The problem is that the controllers speak so quickly that is is very hard to decipher what they are saying and you really want to make sure you got it right when big jet is right on your ass…

Aug 16/14 – Treats for instructor
/in Uncategorized/by Andre ZemanAfter Gaetan purchased his gear (Kangook with Fly Evo 100 engine and Cima K 2 L) we completed all the paperwork and just before we said good bye he gave me a nice thank you card along with gift card and very nice note.
I know he would prefer that I do not share what he wrote so I will not.
Next, Ben came to take his paramotor (Kangook with Moster engine) from my trailer and loaded to his car. Once I was finished and he left, I open car door and there is this:
I will only drink this beer with you Ben!
What a great week, thank you very much guys.
