May 25/14 – This is how we fix them…

Halfway through the course Brent had a rather rough landing. It was a combination of things. He started to pull breaks too early, I told him to release and he released to abruptly. This got combined with a “hole” in the air thus provided for quite harsh lending. Like most of us would, Brent did not try to use his legs to soften up the blow and let the frame take the hit and in the process Brent bent it bit out of spec. So I got my good old come-along out and straightening out for him. We did pretty good job, you can hardly tell it was ever been. This is how it’s done:

It has been almost a year since I have seen Loawrence the last time. He basically needed to refresh on hook up to the paraglider In for both are forward and reverse position and do some ground handling. Lawrence picked it up real quick and he will be ready to fly next time we see each other. Well done!

May 23/14 – Dan signed up for June 14 – this course is full.

May 16/14 – PPG course finished

So PPG course is finished. The first three and half days the weather was awesome and then it started to rain and got windy. Brent ended up with 17 flights including couple detours into the beanfield. Ha ha. Yes manage 35 flights even though he skipped couple sessions. And David can only make it out for times I think and is now sitting on eight flights in his log. I owe him whole bunch of training sessions and some to Brent as well. Great course, I loved you guys! The only downfall was this stupid chest cold that doesn’t seem to want to go away.
