I will be visiting my old homeland, Czech Republic, from Sep 15 to Oct 6 and Powered Paragliding Ontario will be closed.

If you do not wish to be grounded, order spare prop and cage section now so you have it before I leave.

Aug 16/14 – Treats for instructor

After Gaetan purchased his gear (Kangook with Fly Evo 100 engine and Cima K 2 L) we completed all the paperwork and just before we said good bye he gave me a nice thank you card along with gift card and very nice note.

I know he would prefer that I do not share what he wrote so I will not.

Next, Ben came to take his paramotor (Kangook with Moster engine) from my trailer and loaded to his car. Once I was finished and he left, I open car door and there is this:

Aug 16/14 – Hughes, motor adjustment

Hughues (early 2013 student) came in to switch from Kangook swan necks bars to regular J bars. I have also fixed couple of litle things on his RS ULTRA Kangook R125 NG motor.

Aug 15/14 pm – PPG course with Gaetan, Ben and Tommy

Again, we did not start flying till 8 pm. Wind calmed down very quickly which created somewhat difficult conditions but both Ben and Gaetan have managed to complete their course requirement of 30 flights. Congratulation to you both on completing course requirement.

Aug 15/14 am – PPG course with Gaetan, Ben and Tommy

Amazing morning. Winds from west at 15 km/h which allowed us to practice reverse inflations near the end of the session. Due to starts claoud there was minimal amount of turbulence which finally gave is very nice and long session.

Crazy windy this pm. We kited with the training gliders.

I have showed the guys few advanced tricks and techniques such as how to kite glider without harness, how to gracefully drop it down in super high winds etc. Wind died down at sunset, we only had 30 min to fly – both Ben and Gaetan did quite well in challenging conditions. All inflations were reverse.
